Bonnier Corporation has sold TransWorld SKATEboarding, TransWorld SNOWboarding, TransWorld SURF, TransWorld Ride BMX and TransWorld Business to Grind Media, a division of Source Interlink Media. In exchange Bonnier has purchased nine different motorcycle publications from Source Media.
Grind Media is the parent company of Snowboarder, Surfer, Skateboarder, Surfing and many other reputable action sports publications. This recent acquisition will put grind Media at the forefront of these sports. The TransWorld Media team will remain in Carlsbad California. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Nothing has been released in regards to the future of the purchased publications aside from business as usual. Just to recap, Grind Media is now the owner of TransWorld SNOWboarding, Snowboader, TransWorld SURF, Surfer, Surfing, TransWorld SKATEboarding and Skateboarder. That is a lot of boarding.
