The Stores
We surveyed 135 snowboard retailers across Canada. Twice a year we update and review our list of stores. These retailers were picked upon recommendation from over 100 regional sales reps from the Canadian action sports industry. Stores were chosen based on their reputation and influence in each region.
The Survey
This survey is based on future buying trends for each retailer. The staff of SBC Business put in over 100 hours on the phone talking with owners, managers or buyers from each retailer. The results you see have nothing to do with past or present sales. Each retailer was asked which top brands they plan on booking for next season.
The Results
The survey is not based on past season sales. It is based on future trends. The results do not necessarily represent the top selling brands by volume (and are not intended to represent that!) but represent a list of which brands are generating the most excitement for next season. They are first and foremost an indication of what 135 of Canada’s most influential independent specialty snowboard shops are planning to book next season.
